What is Datepedia?

Datepedia (datepedia.org) is a 100% free dating site and dating encyclopedia, available in English, Spanish and French. Members create detailed, professional-style profiles — headline, work, education, values, lifestyle and prompts — and meet compatible people near them or anywhere in the world.

Alongside the dating network, Datepedia publishes free guides, a dating dictionary, local dating pages for hundreds of cities and a complete astrology section with a birth chart calculator and zodiac compatibility for every sign pair.

Everything is free

Datepedia has no paid tiers. Messaging, likes, seeing who liked you, profile visitors, every search filter, compatibility scores, birth charts, synastry and photo verification are free for every member. There are no coins, credits or blurred photos.

How matching works

Each profile shows a compatibility score for the viewer. It considers whether both people fit each other’s age preferences, relationship goals, views on children, shared interests and values, lifestyle (smoking, drinking), shared languages and — as a light factor — sun and moon sign harmony. The reasons behind the score are shown openly.

Safety and trust

Members can verify their photos with a selfie reviewed by our team, block and report anyone, and choose who can see and message them. Reported accounts are hidden automatically while they are reviewed. Contact details and links cannot be sent until the other person has replied, which stops most scams.
